Primary Years Programme
(5 -12 years old)
At Lycée Européen Baccalaureate, our Authorized Primary Years Programme (PYP) lays the foundation for a lifelong journey of learning, curiosity, and global understanding.
Designed for students aged 3 to 12, the PYP nurtures the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—through an inquiry-based approach rooted in international-mindedness and conceptual understanding.
Through Transdisciplinary learning, students explore real-world themes that connect subjects and
encourage them to ask meaningful questions, take action, and develop as confident, independent thinkers.
The PYP fosters a classroom culture where students
are not just passive recipients of knowledge, but active
participants in constructing it..
Central to the programme is the IB Learner Profile, which
shapes students into compassionate, principled, and
open-minded individuals prepared to thrive in an interconnected
world.
