In the Early Years at Lycée Européen Baccalaureate, learning begins with wonder, play, and discovery.
Guided by the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework, our youngest learners develop essential skills, attitudes, and values through inquiry-based experiences that nurture curiosity and creativity.
The Early Years curriculum is designed to support the whole child — socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually — in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
Through purposeful play, exploration, and collaboration, children build a strong foundation for future learning while developing confidence, independence, and a love for discovery.
In the Early Years of the Primary Years Programme (PYP),
learning is guided by transdisciplinary themes that connect
knowledge, skills, and concepts across subject areas.
The IB Learner Profile is at the heart of our Early Years
framework.
Even in these formative years, children begin to
develop the ten attributes of an IB learner — becoming Inquirers,
Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled,
Open-minded, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced, and Reflective.
